David Harding is a communications professional with almost 20 years experience with heavy buildings materials giant Hanson, and a background in newspaper journalism. He has managed many high profile, marketing, PR and community relations campaigns including developing and implementing a public relations and public affairs programme to secure the largest single area of land (2,000 acres) to be granted planning permission for quarrying in the UK, and successfully lobbied the Welsh Assembly Government to sanction continued marine aggregate dredging in the Bristol Channel.

He has extensive experience of issues and crisis management in quarrying, landfill and waste disposal and marine aggregate dredging and has regular contact with environmental organisations such as RSPB, British Trust for Ornithology, English Nature, The Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts, CCW and the Corporate Forum of the Council for National Parks.
